Travis Mobley is a native of Hinesville, Georgia. He graduated from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in Education in 2003 and a masters degree in Public Administration in 2005.
Mr. Mobley began his civil service career in 2003 as a Career Program 50, Military Personnel, intern through the Installation Management Command. He spent two years in various rotational assignments at the installation and headquarters level completing the program in 2005. Concluding his internship, Mr. Mobley assumed the position as Division Chief of Administrative Services in the Directorate of Human Resources at Fort Stewart, Georgia where he occupied the position until 2007.
In 2007, Mr. Mobley accepted a position in the Plans, Analysis, and Integration Office and worked specifically with A-76, Performance Measurement, Common Levels of Support, and Installation Status Reporting. In 2008, Mr. Mobley was assigned as the lead for the Analysis Division in Plans, Analysis, and Integration overseeing various functions supporting the installation.
Mr. Mobley assumed the position of the Garrison Executive Officer for Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield in September of 2008 where he currently executes for the Garrison Commander and Deputy Garrison Commander.
