ACS MISSION STATEMENT:
Army Community Service assists commanders in maintaining the readiness of individuals, Families, and communities within the Army by developing, coordinating, and delivering services which promote self-reliance, resiliency, and stability during war and peace. Services are offered to Active, Retired, Reserve and National Guard Soldiers and their Family Members, regardless of branch of service. Department of Defense Civilian Employees (APF and NAF) are also eligible for most services, as are their Family Members. ACS is a member of the MWR family - proudly serving America's Military.
FOREIGN BORN SPOUSES MEET & GREET
Join ACS as we host a special event Foreign Born Spouse event on April 16, Woodruff theater, 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Jane Murray, 3rd Infantry Division Commanding General Spouse will be our special guest and deliver remarks. Foreign born spouses are an integral part of our Installation and units, and this event will be conducted as a networking opportunity. ACS will have displays and light refreshments will be served. The ACS Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) is currently recruiting volunteers to assist during the spring 2014 Special Olympics. Volunteers are needed to serve as buddies, huggers and cheer section for our competitors. Call 767-5058 for details.
