Retirees contribute more than 196 Years of Services

The 3rd Infantry Division hosted a retirement ceremony on Fort Stewart July 27 that applaud more than 196 years of service provided by eight Soldiers.

Representing the 3rd ID, the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team Commander and Command Sergeant Major, Col. Mike Adams and Command Sgt. Maj. Robert Leimer, respectively, were on-hand to congratulate the service members and their Families for their achievement; to express appreciation for their efforts; and to wish them well in their future endeavors.

Retirees included representatives from the U.S. Army Training Command; the 3rd ID; 3rd Military Police Command; 2nd Squadron, 1st Armored Cavalry Regiment; 703rd Brigade Support Battalion; 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team; The United States Army Garrison, Fort Stewart; 2nd Battalion, 306th Field Artillery; and the 632nd Maintenance Company.

The retirees included:

Sgt. Maj. Shawn C. Stepney, 28 years;

Master Sgt. Kathleen Anderson, 28 years;

Sgt. 1st Class Jeff Anderson, 26 Years

First Sgt. Lashelle Williams, 27 Years

First Sgt. Tacorrie Johnson, 21 Years

Master Sgt. Johnnie Mitchell, 25 Years

Sgt. 1st Class L’Jarius Jones, 21 Years;

Staff Sgt. Alton Miller, 20 years
