The Directorate of Human Resources provides the Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield community with essential human resources support services to enhance the quality of life for those who work, live, and raise families at Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield and the surrounding communities in support of Service Member For Life (SFL). The Directorate of Human Resources is made up of the following divisions and programs:

Army Continuing Education Services (ACES)

The Armed Forces Continuing Education Service supports mission readiness and enhance quality of life for Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield by providing and managing responsive and quality educational self-development programs and services.


The Administrative Services Division provides oversight, training, and guidance for the Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield Document Management Program in record-keeping, Army addresses, correspondence preparation, office symbols, official mail and distribution, forms and Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act requests.

Army Substance Abuse Prevention Program (ASAP)

The Army Substance Abuse Prevention program provides education & early intervention to help commanders, civilian supervisors, and the Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield community reduce lifestyle risk factors to increase healthy outcomes. We are committed to understanding our supported units and their missions, anticipating what is needed to sustain mission readiness, and proudly serving as a valued member of the Commander’s battle staff.

Military Personnel Division (MPD)

The various agencies within the Military Personnel Division are responsible for providing installation level personnel services to military personnel within Fort Stewart - Hunter Army Airfield . These far-reaching responsibilities directly impact the lives of over 50,000 active duty, reserve and National Guard soldiers, their families.
