OUR MISSION:

Provides resource management support to the Senior Commander (SC) and all assigned FORSCOM units on Ft Stewart, Hunter Army Airfield and Ft Benning. The MSE G8 has funds control authority and funds certification authority for all assigned FORSCOM funding.

WHAT WE DO FOR YOU:

To provide 3rd ID & FORSCOM units professional, knowledgeable and dedicated Staff members who will address all issues within the Resource Management Process. The following areas are some of the many areas where we provide support:

• Provide budget information to the SC and Cmd Group
• Develop the annual budget for year of execution
• Receive and allocate Annual Funding Program and Allotment
• Provide budget services to the supported units
• Coordinate budget issues and processes with supporting agencies
• Provide guidance and advice to command leadership on all Manpower and TDA issues to include hiring of civilians
• Maintain and manage the working TDA for current year of execution
• Monitor and Control FORSCOM civilian on-board strength to meet objectives
• Provide managerial accounting support to assigned units
• Manage and administer Defense Travel System (DTS) and Government Travel Card (GTC)
• Financial systems and logistical interfacing systems
• Provide guidance and approval process for the Contractor Logistics Support (CLS)
• Administrative support to all FORSCOM civilians to include but not limited to timesheets, performance appraisals and personnel actions
