Fort Stewart - Soldier Services

The Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP) is the Army’s premiere transition program designed to assist Soldiers, Retirees, Department of the Army civilians, and their eligible family members as they leave active duty for the civilian job market. ACAP provides transition benefits counseling and job service assistance 24 months prior to retirement and 12 months prior to ETS for separating Soldiers, but not later than 90 days prior to separation.

The services that ACAP provides include mandatory pre-separation counseling, job search workshops, interactive computer-based job assistance training, individual counseling as well as hosting numerous employer recruitment visits.
