AMCOM Regional Aviation Sustainment Maintenance (RASM) East
Home - Contact

Welcome to AMCOM RASM-East, an aviation support tenant organization, co-located with the 3rd ID Combat Aviation Brigade, Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, GA.  This is our official home page, designed to provide our customers with current contact information and allow the public to gain insight into our operations.

RASM-East provides reliable, responsive, and cost-effective Modification Work Orders, RESET maintenance, Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) support, and systems integration for weapon systems, components, and ancillary equipment to ensure the readiness, sustainability and safety of the CAB during the full spectrum of operational environments. The workforce configuration is designed to provide a warm-base capability, with global support to the war-fighter.

The RASM consists of a contractor run, government oversight Contract Field Team (CFT) organization of highly qualified and experienced aviation maintenance personnel, who work with the CAB Commander and his staff to provide on-time, efficient, and quality support for the assigned aviation fleet during peacetime, pre-deployment, and post-deployment for overseas contingency operations.

Key to the success of the organization is a cyclic workloading and priority review of needed maintenance and upgrades for the CAB aircraft and support equipment.  The RASM works with the CAB commander to determine the priority of work, and to develop a plan to provide best-value support with improved production capacity and cost efficiency.  Optimizing enterprise relationships within AMCOM provides increased maintenance capability through multi-site work efforts, special tool support, proportional technical assistance programs, and the availability of world-wide asset allocation.

Quality maintenance in the aviation arena is not just about enhancing product efficiency; lives are at stake with everything we do.  Therefore, we are constantly reviewing our quality assurance posture and compliance with the regulatory requirements to integrate safety into every facet of our work, with the goal of constantly improving customer satisfaction with our work product.
