He left Korea to join the 3rd Battalion, 7th Infantry, Fort Stewart, Ga where he served as a Platoon Sergeant/ Platoon Leader, 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry, Fort Stewart, Ga (Iraq), where he served as a Line Company and a HHC First Sergeant, 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry, Fort Stewart, Ga, where he served as a Operation Sergeant Major, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT), Fort Riley, Ks (Iraq), where he served as a Battalion Command Sergeant Major, and 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry where he served as a Brigade Command Sergeant Major.
