Command Sergeant Major Patrick A. Blair has been married for 18 years to Rhonda and they have two daughters, Lindsey and Sidney.
Command Sergeant Major Blair entered the Army on October 1, 1986. He attended One Stop Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia where he completed Infantry Basic and Advanced Individual Training. Command Sergeant Major Blair reclassified into CMF 93 in 1988 and attended Air Traffic Control Advanced Individual Training.
Command Sergeant Major Blair’s assignments include 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade, Hunter Army Airfield; HQ USAREUR/7A, G3 Aviation Division; 3-58th Aviation Regiment, Germany; 1st Battalion, 11th Aviation Regiment, FT Rucker, AL; 4-58th Aviation Battalion, Republic of Korea; 1-502D Infantry Regiment at FT Campbell, KY.
His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University as well as a graduate of all NCOES courses. Command Sergeant Major Blair has also graduated from the Air Assault Course, Air Force Joint Ground Operations Course, the Equal Opportunity Leaders Course, the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Course, and the Unit Armorer Course.
His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal (1st Oak Leaf Cluster), Meritorious Service Medal (2nd Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (3rd Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (6th Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Southwest Asia Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon (Numeral 4),Iraqi Campaign Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, NATO Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 3), Kuwaiti Liberation Medal (Kuwait), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Valorous Unit Award and the Meritorious Unit Commendation.
