CSM David R. Inglis was born in Olympia, Washington in 1975. CSM Inglis enlisted in the Army in August 1993 in Santa Fe, NM, completed Basic Training and 27D Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, SC. CSM Inglis’ previous assignments include: Paralegal, 3-73d Armor Battalion, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC; Court Reporter, United States Army Garrison, Fort Carson, CO; Court Reporter, 19th Theater Support Command, Camp Henry, South Korea; NCOIC, Criminal Law, Headquarters, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC (deployed to OEF II and OIF I); Chief Paralegal NCO, 32d Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Fort Bliss, TX; Chief Paralegal NCO, United States Army Alaska, Fort Richardson, Alaska, and Command Paralegal, Headquarters, 82d Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC.

CSM Inglis’ military and civilian education include: Airborne; Air Assault; Jumpmaster; Combatives Level 1; PLDC; BNCOC; ANCOC; First Sergeant’s Course; and the US Army Sergeants Major Academy. CSM Inglis earned his Associates of Arts Degree from Pike’s Peak Community College, CO, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Excelsior University, NY.

CSM Inglis’ military awards and decorations include: Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster (OLC); Meritorious Service Medal with 2 OLCs; Army Commendation Medal with 3 OLCs; Army Achievement Medal; Good Conduct Medal sixth award; National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star; Iraqi Campaign Medal; Afghanistan Campaign Medal; Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon Number Four; Army Service Ribbon; and the Korean Defense Service Medal.

CSM Inglis is married with one son and one daughter.
