CSM Forbes Daniels is a native of Guyana South America, and a naturalized United States citizen. He joined the Army December 1984, and graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, S.C., and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, Va., as an Automated Logistical Specialist.

CSM Daniels' previous assignments include: PLL/TAMMS Clerk, Supply Sergeant, Tech Supply NCOIC, Battalion S4 NCOIC, Aviation Brigade S4 NCOIC, ROTC Senior Logisticians, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Drill Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, First Sergeant, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, Garrison Sergeant Major, and the Senior Mission Command Sergeant Major for U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona. He currently serves as the 3rd Sustainment Brigade Command Sergeant Major.

CSM Daniels served in many organizations including, 249th Engineer Combat Battalion; 588th Engineer Battalion; 525th Ordnance Company, 3/62 Air Defense Artillery, 41st Transportation Company, 181st Transportation Battalion, 244th Quartermaster Battalion, 6th Brigade 1st Region, United States Cadet Command, 603rd Aviation Support Battalion, 3rd Combat Aviation Brigade; 19th Theater Support Command; USA Garrison Fort Polk, 2nd Calvary Regiment, 2nd Stryker Calvary Regiment Combat Team; 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team; and U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona.

His military training includes Airborne Basic Course, Air Assault Course, Supply Property Book Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course, Field Ordering Officer Contracting Course, Unit Small Arms Course, Advance Noncommissioned Officers Course, Cadet Command Course, Master Fitness Course, Drill Sergeant Course, First Sergeant Course, Sergeant Major Academy, Garrison Command Course, and the Certified Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML).

CSM Daniels' awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (5OLC), Army Commendation Medal (4OLC), Army Achievement Medal (6OLC), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Honorable Order of Saint Martin, Airborne Badge, Air Assault Badge, Drill Sergeant Badge, Combat Action Badge, and the Distinguished Order of Saint Martin.

CSM Daniels holds an Associate's Degree from Jefferson Community College, a Bachelor's Degree from Excelsior College and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Trident University International.

He has been married for more than 19 years and has two children.
